Construction 5.0 is not a distant concept — it is being built right now by firms that are willing to rethink how they find work, manage risk, and choose partners. On June 3rd, Taiyo.AI's CEO Dr. Saurabh Mishra joined CICA, the World Construction Association, for a dedicated webinar hosted by the Construction 5.0 Working Group. The conversation was a genuine deep dive into where AI is already making a difference for global firms.

The discussion moved through three operational areas where the shift is most visible. In business development, the transition from manual lead generation to data-driven discovery of global project opportunities is already underway at the firms getting ahead. In supplier intelligence, standardised data is improving procurement transparency and supplier risk assessment in ways that relationship-based approaches simply cannot replicate at scale. And in strategic foresight, AI is enabling firms to move from reactive to proactive decision-making — applying probabilistic reasoning to long-term planning rather than waiting for problems to surface.
What made the session particularly valuable was the quality of the audience. CICA members represent some of the most sophisticated construction organisations in the world, and their questions pushed the conversation well beyond the surface. The webinar demonstrated how grounded intelligence can provide the productivity gains necessary for the next generation of construction.
